Pay Team League Fee - Captains Only

League Information

WPTC members are eligible for summer club leagues and are matched based on their NTRP rating. Leagues include Men’s and Women’s Adult leagues, Trio Leagues, Mixed Doubles leagues, Women’s Daytime Doubles leagues, CTA Silver Senior Leagues, Twilight leagues, Senior leagues, and Super Senior leagues. Leagues are organized by the WPTC League coordinator, and are sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and/or the USTA’s local chapter the Colorado Tennis Association (CTA).

To get involved in league play, you can form your own team by becoming a team captain or register to find a team as an individual. The minimum amount of members on a team is 10 for Adult leagues and 8 for Mixed Doubles and Senior leagues. Twilight leagues minimum is 6 for Men and 7 for Women.

To get started in a league you can follow the 3 steps below. Feel free to contact the WPTC league coordinator for any assistance or if you would like more information on becoming a team captain. Here are steps you must take to get started.

1. Join the USTA

The cost is $42.00 and must be charged to a major credit card. You will receive your permanent USTA number at that time. This number will be used to register you on league teams. Join USTA Now or call 1-800-990-USTA

You will need to know your NTRP rating to register. If you do not know your rating you can rate yourself based on NTRP characteristics listed under 2012 League Documents or contact Jason Rogers at CTA at jason.rogers@coloradotennis.com.

2. Join WPTC

The cost to join WPTC is $32 per year (Jan. 1 – Dec 31). You must join WPTC to participate in Wash Park leagues. Join WPTC Now

3. Join Your Team

League fees vary depending on the league you are joining and the number of people on your team. For Adult leagues the team fee is $175 and Mixed Doubles league fees are $145. These fees are typically divided between the team members. For example, if you play in the Adult league and have 10 members on your team, the individual cost is $17.50. Captains typically pay the league fee and are responsible for collecting from their team members.
