Tennis continues to be a broad-based and popular sport, for young and old alike. The staggering growth in participation the past several years has created a strain on infrastructure and program availability. USTA CO is committed to communities’ access to tennis and is partnering with Denver Parks & Recreation to pilot Tennis Champions, an awareness and advocacy campaign, and the Home Court Advantage contest to nominate Denver public park tennis courts for small improvements (up to $5000). The campaign will broaden across the state after the initial April 1 – June 30 focus with Denver Parks & Recreation. We must work together so tennis can grow at pace with its popularity.
