We're in need of volunteers to help with...

The club is looking for someone to fill the open position of Secretary on the Board of Directors.
This volunteer Officer oversees all aspects of maintaining the WPTC’s official club records. The Secretary is responsible for ensuring that accurate and sufficient documentation exists to meet legal requirements, and to enable authorized persons to determine when, how, and by whom the board's business was conducted.

The club is looking for a Summer Socials Director to join the club’s board of directors.
This volunteer coordinator oversees all aspects of the WPTC’s Summer Socials. The primary goal is to create and organize fun, memorable monthly social events focused on playing tennis, while allowing time for members to socialize with each other over food and drink.

Congratulations to 2017 USTA ADULT 18 & OVER - WOMEN 3.0 - WP Purple, captained by Angelique Manley, for a perfect 7-0 season.
The team, consisting of Angelique Manley, Leah Johnson, Kristina M Parker, Rachel Deloach, Lauren Eddy, Kathy Dinmore, Kristen Hanson, Shelli Kwederis, Keegan Borgias, Julie Woodle, Mindy Humphrey, and Anne Purvis, advanced to Districts at CACM where they lost to the eventual winner, Miramont Lifestyle Fitness Fort Collins.
Congratulations to 2017 USTA ADULT 18 & OVER - WOMEN 3.0 - WP Black, captained by Katie Portenga, for a 6-1 season, and an advancement to Districts. The team of Susan E. Bruce, Katie Portenga, Kelly Bischoff, Dru Steinly, Katie Schneck, Katie Clymer, Michaela Schedel, Derria D Banta, Jennifer Stack, and Lindsay Gail Hernandez.
Every year, USTA Colorado recognizes players, administrators, facilities and volunteers who have distinguished themselves over the course of the year.
We're excited to announce that the club has been selected as the USTA Colorado 2016 E.L. Griffey Organization of the Year. We're incredibly proud of the contributions our members, team captains, volunteers and board members have made to the club and community that has earned us this award.
The club will receive the award at the 2017 Colorado Tennis Hall of Fame Gala to be held on January 20, 2017. Attendance is open to all, and it would be great to see WPTC members attend. Event ticket sales benefit Colorado Youth Tennis Foundation.
Wash Park Tennis Club mourns the loss of Stu Bader, a Denver Parks & Recreation Permitting Department ex-Manager, who passed on October 9th while on vacation in China. WPTC had a close relationship with Stu while he was employed with DP&R and had retired a couple of years ago. Leagues Director Patricia Robertson attended his Memorial Service. In memory, WPTC donated $100.00 in his memory to his favorite charity, Light of the World Catholic Church Food Pantry.
