Tournaments are a blast, but we can't do it without the generous support of volunteers!

Our first of two annual tournaments, the Clyde Rogers, is right around the corner...May 23 - 28 (yes, Memorial Day weekend).

We're in need of volunteers to help with...

    • Daily setup and take-down of tournament supplies
    • Checking in players
    • Distributing swag/prizes
    • Putting matches on court
    • Reminding players of the tournament rules and format
    • Monitoring the progress of matches
    • Recording scores

YOU CAN STILL VOLUNTEER even if you're already planning on playing in the tournament.  We'll work around your match schedule.

Every year, USTA Colorado recognizes players, administrators, facilities and volunteers who have distinguished themselves over the course of the year.

We're excited to announce that the club has been selected as the USTA Colorado 2016 E.L. Griffey Organization of the Year.  We're incredibly proud of the contributions our members, team captains, volunteers and board members have made to the club and community that has earned us this award.

Wash Park Tennis Club mourns the loss of Stu Bader, a Denver Parks & Recreation Permitting Department ex-Manager, who passed on October 9th while on vacation in China.  WPTC had a close relationship with Stu while he was employed with DP&R and had retired a couple of years ago.  Leagues Director Patricia Robertson attended his Memorial Service.  In memory, WPTC donated $100.00 in his memory to his favorite charity, Light of the World Catholic Church Food Pantry.
